<ABOUT THE MATERIALS USED>
* Gold version: the wire that makes up this ring is 14 carat gold filled. The plating was carried out using the American technique known as “gold filled”. Guaranteed nickel and lead free. Perfect for sensitive skin.
"Gold filled" is a more resistant material than the European standard which imposes a minimum thickness of 3 microns to obtain the name "gold plated", and therefore much more resistant than so-called "fine gold" jewelry whose plating thickness is randomly between 0.15 and 1 micron!
* Silver version: the solid silver that makes up this creation is of Italian origin, guaranteed nickel-free, chrome-free and lead-free. Perfect for sensitive skin. By definition, true solid silver should contain 100% silver. But in the field of jewelry, this is not possible because pure silver is too soft. This is why we add an alloy metal to make it harder, here copper. Worldwide, “prime grade” silver has a minimum content of 92.5% pure silver. This is called 925 silver.
To keep your jewelry for a long time, I recommend not storing it in a humid environment. A care instruction will be provided with the jewelry. To find out more about the quality of our materials, discover the dedicated article on the blog: http://www.myo-jewel.fr/comment-choisir-ses-bijoux/
<ABOUT PACKAGING>
The use of natural materials is essential in order not to damage our beautiful planet! The jewel will therefore be placed on a cardboard support, then in a burlap pouch, all protected by a kraft gift box. Each Myo Jewel piece of jewelry is therefore ready to be offered or given to yourself ;) If you would like to add a little word in anticipation of a gift, please leave me your text when ordering. It will be written on a kraft form attached to the package.
